 The African Development Bank will be attending African Mining Indaba 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa from 6-9 February 2023. The theme of this year’s conference is “Unlocking Africa’s Mining Investments”.

 The African Development Bank delegation is led by the African Center for Natural Resources Management and Investment and includes key sectors such as Industrialization and Trade Development, Sanctions and Appeals Commission and African Legal Support Facility.

 As one of the sponsors of Africa’s Mining Indaba 2023, the Bank will work with the African Legal Support Facility and the CONNEX Support Unit to organize two events on battery minerals in the energy transition and contract negotiations to open up new mining industries. Hold events related to the use of mining opportunities. The Bank will also sponsor the Ministerial Lounge, the meeting place for all African ministers in Indaba.
