THE COPPERBELT’S LEADING MINING AND ENERGY BUSINESS EVENT

The 12th edition of the Zambia International Mining & Energy Conference ( ZIMEC 2025) took place at the Garden Court Hotel, Kitwe from 19-20 March 2025.

The event was organized by AME Trade Ltd with the support of the Ministry of Mines and Mineral Development, Ministry of Energy, Zambia, and AZMEC (Association of Zambian Mineral Exploration Companies).

The 12th edition was held under the theme “Promoting Equitable Investment Partnerships, Intra-Regional Mineral Value Chains & Renewable Energy to Catalyse Zambia’s Sustainable Economic Growth ” and was inaugurated by the Honourable Paul Kabuswe, Minister of Mines & Mineral Development.

ZIMEC 2025 gathered over 600 attendees from 20 countries, and featured 65 exhibitors. The high-level audience demonstrated the importance of the event and its impact on the Zambia mining and energy sectors.
