- The SWDH102S hydraulic rig is ideal for quarries and construction operations, effortlessly drilling holes in the range of 76mm to 115mm to depths of 25m.
- The comprehensive DTH crawler model range covers all possible blast hole requirements, covering hole diameters in the range of 90mm up to 270mm and hole depths of up to 36m.
- The unique SWDR138B is one of the only fully OEM certified excavator drill rigs available in the market, offering exceptional manoeuvrability, balance and production speed. Angle and elevated drilling capability is enhanced and knowing that all components and systems are factory certified means peace of mind for owners and operators.
Powered by Cummins Tier 111a engines the new fuel efficient, low emission SUNWARD drill rigs uphold standard ergonomics and safety designs, featuring cab air conditioning, radios as well as LED lights.
More than eighty SUNWARD drill rigs are in daily operation in South Africa and surrounding countries, drilling daily in all typical rock formations and geologies, and covered by a comprehensive stockholding of spare parts and back-up service.
All SUNWARD drill rigs are available with a comprehensive range of options such as automatic fire suppression, external camera and PDS systems, upgraded LED lighting, depth and angle sensors.
What’s new at EM2024?
Azize will showcase two new drill rig models:
- The SUNWARD SWDE165B DTH crawler drill covers holes diameters from 138mm to 180mm up to a maximum depth of 36m. Based on a proven design the updated rig now features a single 277kW Cummins QSX12 engine covering both the hydraulic and compressor requirements, resulting in substantially lower fuel consumption and maintenance costs.
- The new SUNWARD model SWDR138B will also be highlighted. This updated excavator drill rig now features a single 264 kW Cummins QSL8.9 engine and is the most affordable OEM certified excavator rig available on the market.
SUNWARD Drill tools:
For the first time Azize will display a full range of SUNWARD drill tools. DTH hammers, bits and adaptors covering all popular hole sizes will be showcased.
